For this unique collaboration, Charles Hascoët transforms a Parlee Force AXS bicycle into a personal meditation on nostalgia, memory, and resilience. Inspired by the iconic Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle of his childhood, Hascoët reimagines the bicycle as a symbol of speed, freedom, and the cultural imagery of the 1990s.
Known for his figurative paintings that draw from art historical references, popular culture, and personal memories, Hascoët creates dreamlike narratives that exist between reality and imagination. Through this project, the artist revisits a formative image from his youth while honoring the strength and perseverance of those affected by cancer.
Created in support of the American Association for Cancer Research and the Philadelphia Cycling Classic, this one-of-a-kind bicycle reflects the intersection of personal history, artistic expression, and collective action.
