Depth when open 37 1/4 inches; Appearing in overall fairly good, stable, and ready to place condition. The case having scattered nicks, scuffs, and scrapes consistent with age and use. The top and writing surface with heavier wear. The fall front is somewhat warped and it does not appear that the lock mechanism would align properly with the case. Drawers open and close smoothly. One of the interior drawers is missing a pull. Both sides of the case have a vertical split running the height of the case along a construction seam. The feet have newer/ reinforced blocks which are visible from the back and the underside. Pulls appear original and there is no indication of past hardware or sights from past hardware. The escutcheons may be replacements as they do not properly align with the key holes. There is no key.
