small crock with foliate motifs: with a few chips to rim, dark stain with vertical line to body; A.P Donaghho crock: with some minor chipping to inner and exterior rims, crease along rim (firing flaw from making); small crock with floral stencil motif: with large areas of dark discoloration to body, a few chips to interior and exterior rims, hairline along rim and hairline along base edge; larger Greensboro crock: some streaks of discoloration to lower rear, a couple old softened chips to underside rim, a spot of stain or paint to rim; smallest crock (with horizontal line decoration): chip to rim, hairline to bottom; smaller Greensboro crock: some spots of discoloration to rear, a couple minute fleabites to rim; largest crock: overall with stickiness to surface from liquid residue of contents over time, the surface generally darkened from use, some chips to interior and exterior rim, with considerable damage to underside, including fracture resulting in approximately seven breaks, and a few related hairline cracks including one that runs along lower body, the repairs done poorly, the pieces now projecting beyond original placement and with some adhesive residue evident throughout, with some related losses along seams of breaks; interior and lower body fluoresces under UV light, possibly indicating enduring stickiness from liquid contact
